Our Board meets every other Monday from 7-9 p.m. in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle. We are primarily seeking individuals who are committed and passionate to supporting those who are interested in the raw foods diet, conducting public outreach activities aimed at teaching people about the raw foods diet, and are committed to the success of our community organization and seeing a raw foods community center open in the Seattle area. We are looking for people who conduct themselves with integrity and commitment, and do what they say they are going to do. We are also looking for people with experience in event planning, fundraising, grant writing, nonprofit boards, finance, web design, graphic design, raw foods preparation, or those who are willing to learn these skills. I'd be interested in working on or forming a committee for outreach here on the Eastside, if there are other interested Eastsiders who could help. This is a huge, untapped market over here. I don't lately have a lot of time to devote to this, so I could only help a little, but I'd be available for some discussion on possibilities.
