Guest guest
This is a bit negative and shows there are still some strong mind mind-sets in terms of " nutrition " . [just a reminder... Long before our ancestors discovered weapons, tools, and fire, they were eating an entirely raw diet, predominantly plant-based, so the cooked food movement was actually the " offshoot " !] Would someone care to send a letter to the editor? Jeff Raw food may fall short in some nutrients By Susan Bowerman, Tribune Newspapers. Susan Bowerman is a registered dietitian and assistant director of the UCLA Center for Human Nutrition. Raw-food diets often are described as " uncooked vegan diets, " which exclude all animal products and byproducts. Adherents consume from half to virtually all of their foods raw. Aside from fruits and vegetables, the diets include raw nuts and seeds and are rounded out with sprouted grains and beans.
Guest guest
Well, Frederic Pautenaude also wrote a newsletter recently about how they were claiming how new studies found beer and pizza good for you. Btw, sorry I missed the movie and party on Saturday. How was it? It certainly gave movement to several support groups I'm happy to see! Take care all On 8/19/07, Jeff Rogers <jeff wrote: > > This is a bit negative and shows there are still some strong mind > mind-sets in terms of " nutrition " . [just a reminder... Guest guest
When I tried this link, I was taken to a registration page. So I went to www.google.com/news and typed in raw food nutrients and it was the first link, and I had no problem there. I also found this short article on tomatoes at: http://www.dentalplans.com/articles/23366/ This person repeats the statement that cooked tomatoes have more bioavailable lycopene than raw. Many people say this, but I've never seen any reference to a study to prove this. Is everybody just repeating what somebody once said, or is there any proof?
