Guest guest
Just a quick question -- does anyone know of any raw foodist personal trainers or personal trainers who are familiar with the raw food diet in the Seattle area? I'd like to start working out again but I'd rather work out with someone who has experience with the raw food diet and fitness rather than someone who's going to tell me that I " need " to eat meat to build muscle or that I absolutely have to take a zillion supplements. Thanks in advance! Jana
Guest guest
See vegsource.com and then click on veg athletes to the left. its been awhile since I have been there but many veg fitness trainers visit there and answer questions. They even may be able to link you up to someone in Seattle. I workout at home and am about 75% raw, I guess. I don't follow the supplement baloney, myself. I jsut try to eat a healthy diet and lift wts. 2 to 3 times a week, cardio several times a week, and yoga often. Absolutely love my NIA class. I know if you google vegan athletes you will come up with good info also. Guest guest
I've lost 55 pounds since February on low fat raw vegan and have been working out with a group run by Jeff Taylor. www.trainwithjeff.com He's not raw but he is very familiar with my diet and my success. Hope this helps! melissa On 8/20/07, janaballard <jana wrote: > > Just a quick question -- does anyone know of any raw foodist personal > trainers or personal trainers who are familiar with the raw food diet > in the Seattle area? Guest guest
It would probably be a good idea to sit down and interview a trainer beforehand to see what their philosophy is before commiting to anyone.
