Guest guest
Hi All, The almonds have arrived and will be available for pick up this weekend. I will be ordering the pistachios today and I expect they should be here in a week or two. I'll keep you posted. Ordering for both almonds and pistachios is now effectively closed, although I may have some of both left over after the orders are filled. I'll let you know about that too. I'd prefer for people to come over between 6pm and 8:30pm Saturday OR Sunday evening. If you can come then, you don't need to call ahead, I will prepare your order while you wait. If those times won't work please call or email me directly and set up an alternate time. For sanity's sake, I'd appreciate it if as many people as possible could try to make it on Saturday or Sunday evening. I'm sure I've left something out so please let me know if you have any questions! Thank you. Best wishes, Nora 425.802.0165

Guest guest
Hi All, The almond orders are all bagged and ready to be picked up. I offered to sell any almonds I had left to interested members of my discussion list but I think I'm actually going run short. So if anyone has changed his/her mind or just can't make it here by the end of next weekend, please let me know asap so I can sell the almonds to someone else. Almonds need to be picked up no later than October 7. Any almonds that aren't picked up by that date will be sold to others who want them. If the times I'm making available (this evening from 6-8:30) don't work for you, please call me (425.802.0165) to arrange another time. I'll post pick up times for next weekend later in the week. Regarding pistachios, I called the grower with my order on Friday and he actually gave me a few more days. So if you want them and you haven't yet ordered, go ahead and put your order on the database. Sorry for the confusion. I'll be calling him with my total on Wednesday, Oct. 3. Feel free to call or write with your questions. Thank you! Nora
Guest guest
Hi All, The unpasteurized almonds arrived yesterday. They are fresh and beautiful. If you bought almonds from me last year, bear in mind that the ones I'm selling this year are a different variety. These are the Nonpareils, which are larger, flatter, lighter in color and flavor and tenderer in texture. If you've ordered and live in the Seattle area, please let me know when you'd like to come pick up. I will be putting non-local shipments in the mail starting tomorrow for people who have paid in advance. If you haven't already paid, please do so asap so I can ship your order. Payment options are Paypal or check by mail. Shelled almonds can be stored for up to a year at 32-45 degrees. If you plan to store them for long periods, be sure to double-bag them or place them in a plastic bag and also in a glass or plastic container. This will keep moisture content and nutrient levels intact and freezer odors out. If you have not yet ordered, it's not too late. I have plenty to go around. They are $10/lb., certified organic. Please let me know if I can answer any questions. All the best, Nora
