None of the food or smoothies listed on their menu at their website is

raw. Do they have a separate raw menu? What types of raw foods do

they offer? Is there a Juice Goddess rep on this list?

mitnors2 (nice name) - It says " fresh pressed juices " nothing but juice there.

And next to it says " Juice Goddess Favorites " and they are all just juice

combinations. The " specialty " smoothies have non raw ingredients in them.

Chill out and have a shot of wheatgrass. My goodness they have barely opened

their doors, give them a chance. They are not advertised as a raw food

restaurant, it says juice bar. Ever been in Jamba Juice? Talk about a non raw

juice bar! This place looks like it has possibilities.

Jerry and I have been there twice now. Had wonderful

raw natchos and a yummy cheeze burger wrap.

They are located right accross from Wallingford Center

on 45th.

To anyone who attempted to go to the " grand opening " : I'm sorry for

any inconvenience you experienced! I arrived at about 6:45 PM and

found the place very dark, with a closed sign out and a note saying,

basically, closed for the holidays. There was no offer of explanation

as to why they cancelled their " grand opening " . I did not hear of any

change of plans since I spoke to chef Matt and staff earlier in the

week. When I offered to pass on the information of their grand opening

to this list, they encouraged me to do so and seemed grateful.

Considering my efforts to help them to publicize this event, as well

as my planning to attend, I was quite disappointed to find a locked

door, dark business, and no food. I left them of voice mail to that

effect, as did at least one other person I know of.

Fortunately, Chaco Canyon was open for business, so I drowned my

sorrow with a couple raw entrees and a raw oatmeal porridge, while

talking to some other would-be-attendees of the grand opening.

I hope to see you at the New Year's Eve potluck or a future potluck or

meet-up!

If I don't see you before next year, have a wonderful New Year's Eve

and Day. I wish you all the best in the new year!

Hi Jeff,

Its too bad. That was my 2nd attempt to go to this place with friends

only to find it closing or closed. I arrived last night a few minutes

before six and I thought that I had the wrong day. Keep us posted if

anything develops.

Very best,

Daniel
