Guest guest
Hi Darryl, This is the best small appliance service place I know of, and if they don't fix vita-mix, likely they would have something useful to say about trying to get it fixed. Action Small Appliance Inc. 1500 145 Place SE, Bellevue WA 98007 425-643-9806 M-F 8:30-5, Sat 9-2 May your day be filled with clarity, grace, progress, and warm laughter, Roger - " Darryl Whalen " <darrylseattle Friday, January 04, 2008 4:34 PM how do you mend a broken heart, eh, i mean vita-mix? > where can i get my vita mix repaired in the seattle area - it's bound to be past the warranty date > > > > Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Guest guest
There is a restaurant equipment repair place just south of the city (on 1st? or 4th?). It's south of the stadium, but north of Costco on the west side of the street. I had my commercial Waring repaired there many years ago. I don't recall the name. I'd still call VitaMix to see what coverage they offer. It may still be worth getting a quote from them, as well. If it is a blade assembly or similar, you can order parts and replace it yourself. Vita-Mix may also what local companies will do repairs. Jeff
Guest guest
We bought a second vita-mix this last summer as the thermo switch was cutting out on ours after about 4 years, maybe 5. I called vitamix and they said to stuff it in the box I got the new one in and send it to them and they would repair it for us. I think the actual warranty is 7 years but they are really great about this stuff and so easy to work with. A couple weeks later, our old machine came back with a major tune up, a new canister and some new parts we didn't even think they would touch. GO VITAMIX!!! , Darryl Whalen <darrylseattle wrote: > > where can i get my vita mix repaired in the seattle area - it's bound to be past the warranty date > > > > Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile.
