Guest guest
And yet, after 93 years the message still hasn't gotten across. Good morning, I read the Wired.com website for my minimum daily req. of science news. Today it noted the anniversary of Joseph Goldberg's studies recognizing the role of diet in maintaining health. http://www.wired.com/science/discoveries/news/2008/02/dayintech_0204 Most of the information comes from an excellent PBS documentary which aired a few years before I became raw, and had a lot to do with my openness to the raw diet. In his experiments prisoners were fed 2 different diets and the effects were so powerful that inmates on the " bad " diet preferred going back to prison rather than continue. Inmates on the good diet suddenly became less aggressive. The after-effects of the study were disappointing, especially the fact that Goldberger died of cancer. It seems that current popular prejudice still goes on the fantasy that what you eat doesn't matter unless it's in a pill.
