OT: SnipURL vs. TinyURL (WAS: dangers of eating too much fruit)

FYI and if you are interested. www.SnipURL.com is vastly superior to tinyURL

in many respects. You can actually create a free SnipURL account, save and

update snips, and more. This means that you can move a target file, update

the snip, and everyone who has that snip will never notice the difference.

Also, you can add meaningful suffixes, so that you end up with something

looking like:

 

www.snipurl.com/my_audio_program

 

Also the owner of SnipURL has a support discussion group and hs/she is very

active there. Has recently implemented several improvements to the service

based upon specific user inputs/requests.

 

Just a bit of info I have found useful.
