Guest guest
Here is a neat shopping bag I just read about on the web - it's made of parachute fabric, weighs 1.8 oz, and scrunches down into a little tote bag which can be carried on a key ring. That way you never have to be out of a grocery bag when you go to the store. : ) It comes in several colors and costs $11.00. http://www.onyabagsusa.com/ Blanc
Guest guest
Also, here's the blog where I initially read about them from someone who has actually been using them: http://www.debbietookrawforlife.blogspot.com/ On Mar 15, 2008, at 2:09 AM, BlancW wrote: > Here is a neat shopping bag I just read about on the web - it's made > of parachute fabric, weighs 1.8 oz, and scrunches down into a little > tote bag which can be carried on a key ring. Guest guest
Those bags look like ChicoBags, which I have about 5 of, which have (apparently) been around longer than the Onya bags. I met one of the founders many years ago at WorldFest. Here's their link: http://chicobag.com/ Jeff
Guest guest
Hmmm, that's interesting. The Onya bags were apparently started by Jon Brousson in Australia, according to their HQ website (see http://www.onyabags.com.au/onya-story.php) .. It doesn't say what year he came up with the idea, though. Did you notice if the founder with whom you spoke had an Australian accent? Maybe they both came up with the same idea. The ChicoBag is made of nylon, though, while the Onyas are made of some unspecified parachute material, maybe they're nylon also.
