Guest guest
Sorry to do this to you folks, but I have a question about colon cleansing. I ran across an ad somewhere on the internet, can't remember where, that explains--and shows pictures--of a " miracle cleanse. " The explanation is that some fecal matter builds up in the intestine and clings to the walls, while most of it moves on through. The pictures of results show tarry, leathery-looking things in the shape of the intestines. Supposedly, this stuff builds up, hardens, and stays in the gut, decreasing the efficiency of nutrient absorbtion. The " miracle cleanse " requires a 5-day fast to allow most fecal matter to pass normally, then an herbal cleanse to detach the hardened residue from the intestine walls. Supposedly, the hardened residue detaches and folds in on itself, and goes down the intestines and out of the body, like an inner coating of leather or rubber! Testimonials from past users say they feel much better after the cleanse. Is this for real? Sounds like a scam to me! The cost of the herbal cleans kit is $100. Has anybody heard of it? Is this something I would want to try? Ron

Guest guest
Hi Ron, Elchanan has written quite a bit about Natural Hygiene vs cleanses. There is no place for them in our Natural Life. They are damaging. . . Check out Path of Health for hissuper clear explanation. Guest guest
Hi Ron. Colon cleanses, colonics and the lot, oh my.. (said to the tune of " Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!... " ) Yes, I've heard of it and them. (and, unfortunately, used many of them) No, it is not something you would want to do, IF your ultimate goal is to improve your health. Yes, it is a scam. The only people who benefit are those selling the products. Toni has correctly stated that we (led primarily by Elchanan) have discussed this at length in our PathOfHealth group, and to a lesser extent in GoingRaw. Rather than repeating much of what has already been written, I encourage those interested to visit one of the above discussion groups. We also provide an audio series of teleconferences entitled " Getting Started on the Path of Health " . These teleconferences are entirely free and available for download. You may find a complete listing, and links, for these teleconferences in post # 495. When folks first join us in GoingRaw, they are sent the following playful, informative message: " Psst. Would you like to jump start your progress? Give yourself a much needed informational boost? Feel more inspired? Then please check out some wonderful " free " resources in post 495! Have fun! Guest guest
I just did one from www.blessedherbs.com! It was truly AMAZING!!! It was quite easy & I did indeed get mass amounts of the mucoid placque out. I highly recommend this site, of the many colon cleanses that I have done over the years, this is the ONLY one that produced such amazing results! It was $89.50 I believe! Good luck! Guest guest
Hi Ron, I have experienced Ejuva intesinal cleanse and I can tell you that I was amazed;I had lots of energy and felt great the entire time, and I was amazed at what came out...just like the pictures in the booklet that comes in the kit- and I have been raw for two years so I thought I was pretty clean. The company is one that is concerned about the planet, all herbs are organic and/or wildcrafted and are of highest quality. Ejuva.com Kind Regards, Mia , " dukkadon " <dukkadon wrote: > > Sorry to do this to you folks, but I have a question about colon > cleansing. Guest guest
Hi There Raw WA, Re: the colon thing...as a health prac. and in contact with others... a surgical nurse debated the truth of impacted colons with me as she saw evidence of this not being the case with diagnostic and other procedures...and although I think sometimes intestinal build-up must be true I think more of the gunk gets pulled out of our tissues in a " short extended time " of cleansing and eating raw, but it takes some on going work and sticking to. The first thing is to clear up the stopped up constipated stuff which can be done in a short time and then the more dramatic toxic stuff gets sent there from the tissues where it has gotten stored for the safety of the important internal organs. by the way I have clients who have also said good things about the blessedherbs products and cleanse.
