Mascali, Staff Writer/ Designer October 14, 2008 Anyone looking to eat healthy and lose weight surely has seen a slew of options: cabbage soup, Atkins, South Beach and so on. They, too, must have seen an equal amount of fads along the way. One diet that has continually been gaining popularity is one that consists of raw food. No, rawism, as it known, doesn’t mean living off sushi — it includes unprocessed, and often organic, fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and sprouted grains cooked below 110 degrees. While some variations of the diet can include raw animal products or meat, the most popular is the raw vegan.
