Guest guest
I heard that too. I heard also that same goes for us and animals, that animals fear us more when they smell the meat smell on us. I know it may not seem true with all animals, because many animals just love licking our faces and all. Though, since going Vegan (mostly Raw Vegan), I find animals come to me more often like if they immediately know I won't hurt them. It's funny, because even the bees seem to come to me every once in a while, and I'm just terrified of bees...my husband jokes that the bees like me because I smell beautiful and fruity. lol. ________________________________ Kristina Turner <familygoingraw Sunday, November 2, 2008 7:10:41 AM Re: Pork Eww gross. Guest guest
Sam and everyone, I too have noticed the same, squirrels birds and other scittish animals coming right near you. We had a dragonfly just hang out buzzing around us for a goood 30 min one day at the lake. We thought it was a bright shirt so we put it to the side but he just stuck right with us. It also makes you feel so connected to nature more. Kristina
Guest guest
Yeah, I think it's so much more noticable with wild animals, because maybe we domesticated our pets so much that it's harder to see it with them. I'm sure wild animals definitely notice our new scents we give off. I did hear that meat gives off a foul odor from our bodies, and I found that to be true for me (I used to stink so much that I never left home without deodorant, but now I smell so much cleaner and don't need deodorant due to my much lighter odor). It definitely made me think...predators are always meat eaters, so no wonder the prey run from them! They can sense that! (No brainer, right? lol.) And I agree, you feel more connected with nature this way. Even more so when meditating. I wish I could just go live in a jungle and be more closer to nature! lol. ________________________________ Kristina Turner <familygoingraw Sunday, November 2, 2008 10:02:58 AM Re: Pork Sam and everyone, I too have noticed the same, squirrels birds and other scittish animals coming right near you.
