Guest guest
Do any of you use Kombucha? I am getting a kombucha " baby " from someone off of Craigslist today and wondered if any of you had tips on how to grow it, use it, etc. Cheers, Christina
Guest guest
________________________________ Hi We have recieved kombuchas from people but have had the most success growing our own. You buy a bottle of your fave kind ( I like Gt daves strawberry or guava) and you drink over half and then put a paper towel with a rubberband as the lid and store in a warm dark closet to grow your baby. Within 3-6 weeks you should have a little mushy that should not be fuzzy. For more recipes and tips I reccomend Goneraw we have learned lots from research and that site. Our kids drink it and we are knocking out a cold with some grape kombucha and juice today. Enjoy the process its so fun to learn
Guest guest
Hi Kristina, Do you know the difference between kefir and kombucha? I am making my second batch of coconut kefir and basically, it's just fresh coconut water that I put in a glass jar and let it sit in the fridge for a week. It ferments and I drink it down! I squeezed lemon in last time, this time I'm adding fresh ginger juice. Is kombucha similar? Thanks. Peace on earth.
