Guest guest
I would like to know if anyone experienced sore gums the first couple of months being raw. I've been raw now for 3 months and the last couple of weeks my gums have been very sensitive and swollen in some spots. Everything else is going wonderful expcept this. Also, I have had a small sore by my left molar ever since I had some dental work done about 1 1/2 years ago..yes..I know I should probably go to the dentist but they haven't done much for me so far and I don't want to be told I have to go on antibiotics. Does anyone know of a natural remedy for this sort of thing? And by the way, if anyone has not been to raw vegan source yet you must go. I went for my first time a couple of weeks ago and they have a great selection. The people are really nice also. Anyway, any advice you may have would be great, Thanks..Shain
Guest guest
I had sore gums, with a very sensitive spot on my left side of my mouth. One week of green juice fasting cleared it right up and my gums haven't been sore since. I also hear brushing or gargling with baking soda will help. If you want to know about the fasting/cleanses I have done email me off list. I have been studying Nutrition for 10 years and have graduated from the Body Mind Academy in Holistic Nutrition and Fitness and am obtaining my Masters in Holistic Nutrition. --- On Mon, 11/10/08, rainbowqueen101 <rainbowqueen101 wrote: rainbowqueen101 <rainbowqueen101 sore gums Monday, November 10, 2008, 11:25 AM I would like to know if anyone experienced sore gums the first couple of months being raw. Guest guest
Shain, A friend of mine was told by her NON holistic dentist that she would need to have a root canal. SHe said she wanted to wait two weeks , She used tincture of Glodenseal and dropped it right on the tooth and took capsules internally. Two weeks later she returned to the dentist and he was suprized to see she did not need a root canal. I have also heard of people having problems with thier teeth after haviong the amalgams removed because it removed the Silver . Silver is a great bacteria and virus cleanser. You could try a spray of colloidal silver also. (sovereign) In the old days when the settlers crossed America they would put a silver coin in the barrels of water to purify it. (note that this must be a VERY old coin to assure it is solid silver). Guest guest
Hello: Gum soreness may come from the concept that the teeth / jaw expand when we are raw and contract when we eat cooked food.? I have experienced this myself and I have heard that being raised raw the mouth can have enough room for the molars....Hopefully many people will be raised all raw and we will be able to confirm or deny this claim in the future.? This is an issue for people who wear dental retainers and I have yet to hear it addressed in any books. Best regards. Bill

I've decided to do a 7 day green juice fast since I could use it anyway and we do have some toothpast, Uncle Henery's brand, that has the silver in it so I'll start using that also. I'll check back in a week and let everyone know if there was any progress.
