Guest guest
This is not remotely related to raw foods, but I'm at a loss regarding an issue which I hope some of you might be able to help me with: For some years I've been feeding some homeless cats at an apt complex near mine. Suddenly today their new manager has decided that the cats are to be removed and will be having Animal Control pick them up. I happened to see and speak with her today as I was going to check on one of the cats, and she even forbade me from going into the complex at all to feed them. I'm very concerned that the cats will end up just being put down. I'm desperately seeking help from various organizations, but so far none have been able to help. I need a temporary place to put the cats until I can find a way to deal with them - either get them adopted or something. I live in an apartment and so can't keep them (though I'd love to find a house where I could). If any of you have a fenced yard and could temporarily keep a couple of cats outside, I'd be so grateful. I have food for them, so that wouldn't be a problem. Please send me an email if you think you can. These cats are wary of strangers, but not unfriendly - they're really sweethearts to me, they let me pet them and pick them up. Guest guest
There is a Feral Cat organization in Seattle and you can get a trap from them, trap the cats, take them there, sterilize them (free) and they will tell you where you can release them. Guest guest
SV In my experience with feral cats and organizations that deal with them , after fixing them thier goal is to release the cats to the same place because they are terretorial animals and this would keep other new ferals from taking thir place and prolifeerating . I think this complex owner wants them out at any cost. Blanc, that might be a ploy to the owner....get your facts in writing to her. Guest guest
The cats were all spayed/neutered by the Feral Org and are mostly 'socialized'. I let the manager know about this, but she didn't care. Anyway, I was able to get a hold of someone at an organization which I think will be able to help. Thanks to all who have replied.
