Yes, everyone’s juicing but you. So, what’s the deal? Well, here it is: juicing takes all the fiber out of your favorite fruits and veggies so all that’s left is the good stuff. Guest guest
Jeff, what are you publishing???? The fiber is essential, it IS part of the good stuff. This is truly nonsense .... destructive nonsense, at that. Elchanan _____ December 4, 4:23 PM by Jazmine Green, L.A. Raw Food Examiner You've heard the talk. Yes, everyone's juicing but you. Guest guest
Elchanan, Look more closely at the article... I didn't publish the article! I passed on a link to an article regarding raw foods. Like it or not, juicing is still a part of raw foods. It is also vegan. If you believe juicing to be nonsense, write a letter to the editor, not directed at me to this list (don't shoot the messenger!). Fiber is an important part of nutrition. Humans evolved consuming raw fibrous plant-based foods for millions of years. BTW, juice (IMO) is far better than soda, coffee, alcohol, etc. and has a definite place in our society. If raw foodists wish to consume fresh organic juices... more power to them. It is their choice. I will likely still drink fresh organic juice on occasion. Similarly, I will likely still eat non-mono meals. There are still plenty of imperfections in my diet, though I eat 100%. My diet doesn't need criticism. Consider leading by example. Some day I may eat an entirely wild-crafted raw mono diet. I'm not there yet. I'm sure most of the members on this list are also not their yet. They make choices. Feel free to offer them information to help them make informed choices. Calling something " nonsense " , I suggest, doesn't do much to convince people to stop it. I will continue passing on links to raw-related articles in the media to this list. There will likely be aspects of the articles that are not perfect and deserving of correction. I write letters to the editors and/or add comments on the pages with the articles. That is the place to be critical. If you choose to be critical on this list, please direct it appropriately. Instead of condescension, consider offering constructive comments about the articles.
