Guest guest
Hi All, I have a few hundred pounds of persimmons I'd still like to part with. Price is $1.50/lb. Minimum order 10 pounds. Fyi one persimmon weighs approximately 1/2 lb and they ripen slowly and at different rates so they don't ripen faster than you can eat them, unless you have several hundred pounds like I do. If there are people who would like to meet in Chinatown, I can arrange a delivery there, most likely on the weekend. To refresh your memory, these are Hachiya and Hyakume varieties, the ones that are eaten soft like water balloons. Very juicy and super sweet! Perfect wintertime sustenance! Please email me privately if you have questions or would like to order. Best wishes, Nora
Guest guest
Nora, will you be going to tomorrow's Casey Phyle meeting? I can take another 10-lb order, if you want to bring them with you. Otherwise I could stop by your place and pick them up tomorrow, if you aren't going. I'd love to have some that are ripe or semi-ripe already. (also, remember you told the Casey Phylers that you would bring a sample of persimmons to the meeting for those who had never tasted one) Blanc On Dec 15, 2008, at 6:52 PM, Nora Lenz wrote: > Hi All, > I have a few hundred pounds of persimmons I'd still like to part > with.
