Raw Vegan Source (Tom and Suzan) has some Almonds from California, they look

great . I have not tasted them but they are the big California ones.

Re: questions raw PCC alnonds from spain

Terri, I've tasted those raw almonds from Spain and I don't like the strong

bitter flavor. I never bought them again. I'm feeling very

raw-almond-deprived! There are so many recipes that require raw almonds.

The Cornucopia Institute is suing the USDA but they need donations to

continue, as they're a small non-profit. I would encourage anyone who has

disposable income to help them with the lawsuit.

Thanks, Catherine. The problem is that it's hard to know if they're really

raw, as the USDA allows pasteurized ones to be sold as " raw. "

Talk to Tom, I think he said he gets them strait from the grower...he usually

really checks things out being that he is eating the food himself.
