Guest guest
As you may have known, recently Oprah Winfrey has opened up about her weight struggle after trimming down and then gaining her weight back. Many people have lost excess weight on raw foods without the struggle. Often, weight has been lost on raw foods while eating all one wants. I've recently sent suggestions to Oprah's staff regarding raw foods and weight loss. Consider submitting a show suggestion on raw foods or send Oprah an email to encourage her to consider raw foods rather than struggle. I believe that it is often a struggle when the body is given " foods " that are not natural for it. Please offer testimonials or mention the successful weight loss of people you know. Here is the link on her website: http://www.oprah.com/contactus Thanks, Jeff
Guest guest
Yes, it would make perfect sense for Oprah to hire personal raw chefs to keep her eating amazing and wonderful meals. But good luck in trying to reach her. I don't think she even reads her mail. It's like trying to reach the president or Bill Gates. I had heard that she once tried raw food and didn't like it. I don't know if that's true. But considering that she knows lots of celebrities, including ones who are into raw foods, you would think some of them would have shared the lifestyle with her. For that matter, we ought to mount a writing campaign to get the Obamas to hire a raw chef for the white house. Guest guest
I second that! Lorri For that matter, we ought to mount a writing campaign to get the Obamas to hire a raw chef for the white house. Judy

If the stories/emails are intriguing enough, her staff would be more likely to pass it on, especially if they had many similar stories of people with great results. > But considering that she knows lots of celebrities, including > ones who are into raw foods, you would think some of them would have > shared > the lifestyle with her. I know that Oprah once had Karyn Calabrese, of Karyn's Fresh (Chicago's raw restaurant) on the show, but I don't know what the topic was and how much they discussed raw food. > For that matter, we ought to mount a writing campaign to get the > Obamas to > hire a raw chef for the white house. As President Obama doesn't drink coffee or alcohol (and quit smoking?) and looks pretty fit, I suspect he'd be more open to it. Jeff
Guest guest
" I know that Oprah once had Karyn Calabrese, of Karyn's Fresh (Chicago's raw restaurant) on the show, but I don't know what the topic was and how much they discussed raw food. " The topic was " Women over 50 " . They were highlighting women who looked exceptionally well for their age. I believe they did mention her restaurant, but don't recall if they said it was about raw food. She was only on stage a minute at most.
