Hi there,

Is there a store in the Seattle area that consistently has the best prices on

organic lettuces? Would love to pay less than $2-2.50 per head. Can't really

buy in bulk cuz I can usually only hold a few heads or so in my frig at a time.

Could maybe buy up to 6 heads if it made a difference in price.

Thanks!

Laurie

Hi Laurie,

Aside from head lettuces, Central Market in Shoreline charges,

currently, $11.37 for a 3-pound bag of organic baby greens (spring

mix). In health food stores they are usually self-serve for $5.99 -

$6.99 per pound. It's a great price!

Central offers great prices on all cases of fresh produce, but for

heads of lettuce or bunches of kale, etc. it may be 24 or more, which

is best shared with others.
