Guest guest
Thanks, Jeff, Helen, and Lorri. I sometimes eat the more bitter greens, but mostly just like Romaine, Red/Green Leaf, and occasionally iceberg. Do any of you still meet at Central Market to share cases of things? I'm not sure how much I could buy at once or if it would be worth it--I'll have to see what the prices/quantities are. Also, do you know of any sources for local wild greens instruction? Are there any wild greens that aren't bitter? Thanks again! Guest guest
I haven't done that in a while, though there have been plenty of times I've stopped by the raw boys house to share some of the greens (kale, etc.) Feel free to post to the list if you want to split cases. Just ask for anyone interested in the greens, etc., to contact you off list. Guest guest
Jeff, You are right. The 3 lb bag of mixed baby salad greens in Central Market is still $11.37. Last time some guy mistakenly put a $15 sticker on my bag but they have reimbursed me. Those people in the produce dept are very nice.
