Guest guest
Howdy, Southern Washington neighbors! A few months ago, Andrea Nakayama of ReplenishPDX (http://replenishpdx.com/) asked us if we could supply raw organic nuts and seeds to her nutrition and health clients at a reduced rate. After looking into it, we are now pleased to announce the formation of Our Community Pantry, whose mission is to supply the local community with the highest-quality organic nuts, seeds, and other goodies at the cheapest price we can find. As Our Community Pantry grows, we hope to slowly add more goods and services to the mix. Our ultimate vision is to have a large community-based economy built on a r model that fully empowers the consumer, grower, and producer to shop and supply locally in entirely sustainable ways. We'll talk more about that in future messages. We're starting small at first, with some nuts and seeds and some items that Brion has already been selling through The Raw Matrix, and we will add more as we are able. There is no fee to be a member. Orders are due every other Friday, and pickups are every other Sunday in Portland (though we can arrange drops in southern WA). Our first order date is this Friday, September 4th with a pickup on September 13th. Some teasers regarding our prices: Unpasteurized almonds at $8.21/lb Cashew pieces at $5.49/lb Sunflower seeds at $2.43/lb Nori sheets at $16.07 for 50 sheets You can find the rest of our prices, ordering information, and more about the idea at our website: http://OurCommunityPantry.com/ Welcome to Our Community Pantry! -Brion & Kyler
