Guest guest
FYI - Yesterday I was north of Shoreline and stopped in the 99 Ranch Market for coconuts. A case of 9 coconuts is $7.99. I just suggest asking for a cold case, like I did. Be aware that their lines are slow! It was my second time there. I was about 7th or so in line and I got to the register in about 15 minutes! (Maybe other times are better!) Jeff
Guest guest
Hi Jeff, I'm not familiar with the 99 Ranch Market. Are there good produce selections at reasonable prices? I'm thinking about looking for a local farm to buy from this spring/summer. Any ideas? Don't want to drive to far out of the city. My last trip to the farmer's market in the University district seemed outrageously expensive! Thanks for any thoughts. Peace on earth. Guest guest
Hi Cheryl, I haven't looked at their produce, but suspect everything is conventional. I primarily eat organic foods. Young coconuts are one thing that I use that are not organic. The local farmer's markets may be pricy, but they have fresh, locally grown organic produce. Another option is Central Market in Shoreline. They offer us case prices for produce that is 50% over their cost. If you can use up a case, there is a savings. You can also share cases with other people. Does anyone know of other stores offering discounted case prices on organic produce? PCC offers 10% off case prices. Shari, 99 Ranch Market is at 22511 Highway 99, Edmonds, WA (a mile or so? north of Costco) (425-670-1899) Jeff On Feb 7, 2010, at 12:16 PM, CHERYL D JONES wrote: > I'm not familiar with the 99 Ranch Market. Guest guest
Thanks Jeff, but I meant where is Cheryl from. She said it was pricey getting to the University Farmer's Market. Shari
Guest guest
Hi Shari, OOps, bad sentence structure! I meant the produce was expensive, not the trip there! I'm in Seattle. - SV<shavig < > Sunday, February 07, 2010 4:08 PM Re: Young coconut cases $7.99 Thanks Jeff, but I meant where is Cheryl from.
