Guest guest
Hello, I will be moving to Bellevue, WA next weekend. The messages I saw earlier mentioning the coconuts and the 99 Ranch Market made me think I'd love to hear from you local dwellers about your favorite food shopping places if you wouldn't mind sharing. I realize it might not be that interesting for those of you who have been living in the area a long time and are well-informed so I appreciate it even more. Thanks. Guest guest
Hi Veronique, I grew up in Bellevue, I live in Kirkland now. PCC is my first choice, there is one in Kirkland (next to Bellevue off the 70th st. exit on I 405.) There is a WHole Foods in Bellevue just off the freeway on NE 8th on the east side of I 405. I go there for certain things but preffer PCC. Uajimaya on Bell-Red rd has coconuts for 1.99 per.(2.50 at PCC or WF) Not as good a deal as going to Seattle but unless you are already going that way gas is a cost. Guest guest
Also of interest for the eastside *was Natures Pantry , a small grocery store in Bellevue that had Raw Food. Unfortunately it closed in January after 35 years in buisness, but happily it will be re-opening in a new location and name( I think) in about 5 months, in the downtown area. They had a great juicebar, however..... There is still an organic juice bar on the eastside in Kirkland on Rose Hill run by Henry. Located in the same shoping center as Baskin and Robbins hidden on the very back side of the larger building. It is very small. This is on Rose hill on the south side of 85th (main road to Redmond) and 128th. Guest guest
Hi Veronique, Bellevue is a large city. Depending on where you live in it, the PCC in Issaquah might be closer than the PCC in Kirkland. Then again, the PCC in Redmond might be closer on another side of Bellevue. www.pccnaturalmarkets.com/locations/ The store in Issaquah is one of their largest stores, so it might be the best bet for an occasional trip for stocking up on specialties, even if it isn't the closest store. May your day be filled with clarity, grace, strength, progress, and warm laughter, Roger - " Veronique Lhote " <VML1002 Sunday, February 07, 2010 11:21 PM Your favorite food or other raw food lifestyle type stores in Seattle > Hello, > I will be moving to Bellevue, WA next weekend.
