Guest guest
No I don't mind. That's funny because I was informed that no matter where a recipe, page from a book etc. was posted on the web as long as the information was copy righted it was still the property of the author and could not be copied or used with out the expressed permission of said author. Even by standards. That was one of the documents I signed when creating a webpage with . At one time they did lay claim to other persons works and alot of their members removed their work from their site and boycoted. I was one of those members. Guest guest
Thanks Sonya. Since you mentioned the recipes were your creation I didn't think it would hurt to ask you politely. Just so you know, every recipe posted here by members is stored in the files, and credit is given to the person who shared them. Do take a stroll through the recipe files if you are ever looking for some inspiration. We have many generous members here who have shared some wonderful food ideas. ~ PT ~ Sometimes even to live is an act of courage. ~Lucius Annaeus Seneca, writer and philosopher (BCE 3-65 CE) ~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~> , Sonya Parker <spjparker> wrote: > > > No I don't mind. I would like to add that there is at least one member that I am aware of who is here to " harvest " recipes because she is writing a vegetarian cookbook. Guest guest
Ooooh! Who, who who!? *lol* You know, it doesn't matter if a person takes a recipe off any list on for their " cookbook " idea. Putting a book like that together takes way more than just cut and paste. No publisher is going to want to publish another cookbook unless the recipes are test-kitchened and assured. Now if somebody uses the recipes in our files for inspiration, who am I to care? I do the same; use cookbooks and recipes from magazines to inspire my cooking, then add, alter, adjust them to fit my taste. Anyway, I wish whoever endeavors to take on such a project great success. Maybe they could lovingly mention us on the first page... " Special thanks to the wonderful people on the feral vegetarian cooking list on for the inspiration for some of these recipes that are included in my first cookbook....
