Guest guest
This sounds like a great idea. My kids enjoy the MSF corndog bites, but they are expensive AND you get very few in a box! I will have to try my hand at making some of my own from the veggie dogs I have. Thanks. ~ PT ~ Or lulling random squabbles when they rise, Chafferings and chatterings at the market-cross ... ~Alfred Tennyson, Idylls of the King: The Holy Grail, 1868. ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~~> , " artichoke72x " < artichoke72x> wrote: > i really like the veggie corn dogs, but they are a bit > expensive. this batter is excellent. i usually just > cut up the veggie dogs to make veggie corn dog bites. > oh, i got this recipe out of saveur magazine a coupla > years back. Guest guest
I was actually dissappointed in the msf corn-dog mini's. Anyway, thanks for this recipe. I may have to save some grilled barkers with this recipe if I'm too lazy to make the chili. Is anyone familiar with a little stand in some malls that is a corn-dog/lemonade/nacho stand? My friends and I use to go to one of these back in the day. They had the best breaded cheese...a corn-dog on a stick except sub a stick of American cheese for the dog. Dip that sucker in yeller mustard and yum. Guest guest
Did you say chili? You have to share your recipe. Those breaded cheese-on-a-stick sound dreadfully good~ and so bad for you. *lol* ~ PT ~ He who loves with purity considers not the gift of the lover, but the love of the giver. ~ Thomas Kempis ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~> , " _- matrixenos -_ " < matrixenos@h...> wrote: > I was actually dissappointed in the msf corn-dog mini's. Guest guest
" Did you say chili? You have to share your recipe. " I've made a few while in the group. I'm surprised I've never posted anything...probably my forgetfulness. If I get really inspired this weekend, maybe I will grill up some onion, jalapenos and garlic to put in the chili. I have some now but it may be bad by the time the weekend comes around. Of course, this could all be wishful thinking, lol. " Those breaded cheese-on-a-stick sound dreadfully good~ and so bad for you. *lol* " LOL, ~P_T~ , so very well put. The reason I liked dipping them in mustard was to calm the richness. Those are probably about as bad as those batter-fried Twinkies that are the rage these days. Bleh.
