Thanks for the gardening group info, Shawn.

I have a question about chipotles.

I was at a local Grocery Outlet store and saw

they had a bunch of cans of chiptles on sale.

They were 7 oz can (maybe bigger) and the chipotles

were said to be packed in adobo sauce.

Do you ever buy them like this and are they good?

Or do you prefer to buy them in another form?

TIA...

all chipotles are anyway are smoked jalepeno peppers. adobo sauce is a type

of seasoning. don't know what exactly it's made from though.

Hi ~ P_T ~.

Yuppers, that's exactly what I put in my last chili recipe (1/4 can of them

chipotles in adobo sauce). They are soooo good and smokey. The can that I

got had some onions in with the sauce. I love the stuff. I am now

officially addicted to Chipotle Tabasco sauce...I polished off a big bottle

in about a week...just picked up another big ole bottle this past weekend

(as well as a bottle of the regular Tab.).

I definitely recommend you try a can of those suckers.

Peace,

Shawn

P.S. Sorry the response is so late. Yapoop decided this weekend to make up

for the lag I've been having by " peppering " emails at me like a " hyper " kid

spitten watermelon seeds at me on a hot and sticky day....er sumthin like

that. Why I try to emulate the master I don't know, lol. Cheers!
