Guest guest
Hello, I am the host for a meetup group in NW Pennsylvania. Granted, it's not a vegetarain one, its one for Wiccans, but ours has been a huge success. We have a turn out of over 25 people each time. I live in hunting-inbreeder country (not born here, just relocated by my mother) and people laugh their heads off at vegetarians out here, so I doubt I could ever get a group going myself. I only know of 1 other in this area.

Guest guest
Why um ok? I've only been a member of this group for a few weeks, but I've found it very warm and welcoming. Doesn't that welcome extend to people of different paths as well as diets? I sure hope so. Otherwise, guess I'll have to head out too, as a fellow Wiccan. , Kennether Macon <mrsmacon903> wrote: > Wiccans, um ok. > > Stacey <mystlizard@u...> wrote:Hello, I am the host for a meetup group in NW Pennsylvania. Guest guest
Yep, all are welcome here. Takes all kinds of interesting people to make this world we live in an interesting place. Patience is a virtue and tolerance is a close cousin. I will have to do some more checking into other types of meet ups that might be going on around here. If they have one for treehugging vegetarian pagans I am there! *lol* ~ PT ~ ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~~~> , " Jigilou Snicklefitz " < jigilou> wrote: > Why um ok? Guest guest
Well I am sorry to say that I will no longer will be able to be a part of this group. It hurts me to say it, but I have to because it interfers with my beliefs. I believe in God and His, Son Jesus Christ. Being pagan is not of God. It is of Satan. I have not once heard anyone say anything about God and others can speak out loud about Satanism. It is that and I will not call an apple a orange. I can not tell that lie. I will be held accountable. I love everyone and I will tell the truth, especially when it comes to the life of people. Being a vegetarian is not just a health decision but a Biblical one as well. Because God said not to eat certain things and that is what He meant. I hope everyone who is in this group read and understand what I am tring to say. Peace and Love and Prayer,MeschellI love you becasue Jesus loves me! T ~ <patchouli_troll wrote:Yep, all are welcome here. Guest guest
Oh well. If you feel that way then it probably is best you go. This is not a pagan list, religious forum or anything other than a vegetarian cooking and support list. However, people from all different beliefs and paths are vegetarians and ALL are welcome here and should not be subjected to being called Satanic just because they do not follow the path you have chosen. ****NOTE TO WHOLE GROUP**** Please do not reply to this person on this list. If you wish to address anything she has said, in this post please take it offlist as it has no place here on a vegetarian site. Thank you. ~ PT ~ , Kennether Macon < mrsmacon903> wrote: > Well I am sorry to say that I will no longer will be able to be a part of this group. Guest guest
As I recall, yours is the *first* post I have seen concerning satanism. I do not recall anyone speaking " out loud about " it. I realize it is what you have been taught, but just because someone's beliefs are different from your own does *not* make it satanism. I imagine it would be rather difficult to be involved in many groups online, without encountering others who are not Christian. Good luck to you. ~Pixx On 25 Apr 2003 at 11:01, Kennether Macon wrote: > Well I am sorry to say that I will no longer will be able to be a part > of this group. Guest guest
Yeah. Quite a bummer if you ask me. Anyway, unless you also sent this to her offlist she will not be able to read your reply as she is no longer here. Guest guest
yeah, that dawned on me as I was hitting 'send'........no matter, as I doubt it would have made any difference even if she had gotten the post. ~pixx On 26 Apr 2003 at 14:13, ~ P_T ~ wrote: > Yeah.
