Unfortunately, this particular Veat product is not vegan (the second ingredient is whey protein). I'm glad to hear they offer some vegan products, but not all Veat products are vegan. Has anyone out there tried Quorn? I tried the roast and it was fantastic. Wow. I highly recommend it, even though it's a tad pricey. I have a box of the roast infront of me now and the second ingredient on the label is rehydrated egg white, then whey protein. But I am not a vegan so I can eat this item. I have also tried and liked their chic-patties. They taste different from other brands of vegetarian chic-patties, and a member on this board once told us she and her husband eat them more as breaded fish sandwiches, so I tried serving mine and thinking of them as that.... whole wheat bun, lettuce, tomato, tartar sauce.
