Guest guest
What do you call the pseudo-vegetarians who eat only starches and junk food? It seems it wouldn't be appropriate to call them vegetarians if they don't eat vegetables. Laurie
Guest guest
I'm a pseudo vegitarian most of the time. It's not the eating of veggies that makes someone a vegetarian in this society, it's the ommision of meat. We call ourselves junk food vegetarians or *living on a kids diet*. peace nikki <---- who really is trying to change her wicked and oh-so-fun ways ;o) - Laurie Friday, May 09, 2003 1:32 PM question: types of vegetarians What do you call the pseudo-vegetarians who eat only starches and junk food? Guest guest
If you don't kill animals to eat you are a vegetarian in my book, nikki, no matter what else you decide to eat. ~ feral ~ He who would leap high must take a long run. ~ Danish Proverb ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~~~> , " good karma " < karmacharmer@m...> wrote: > I'm a pseudo vegitarian most of the time. Guest guest
yeah though I stopped eating dead animals my eating habits haven't gotten much better. aside from salad greens, peppers, potatoes, corn, raw broccoli with a dip, green leafies, and veggies used to flavor such as onions or whatever I have never been a big vegetable fan well I guess string beens are ok too. basically there are probably many dead animal eaters that are better about eating their veggies than me lol stay cool people Dave

But seriously folks ;=) potato chips/crisps come from, well, er, potatoes and tacos and corn chips come from, er, corn, and even doughnuts were once growing in a field with their wheat brothers and sisters - all categorized as 'vegetable' growing things as opposed to 'animal' (remember Twenty Questions?). But I wouldn't call them *pseudo* just because I didn't approve of the nutritional content of their diet, any more than I would call someone who subsists on hotdogs a pseudo-carnivore. *LOL* Best, Pat -- SANTBROWN townhounds/ http://www.angelfire.com/art/pendragon/ ---------- * " Until he extends the circle of compassion to all living things, man will not himself find peace. Guest guest
Sorry if my remarks were insensitive, Nikki. I had a lot of goofy misconceptions when I became a vegetarian last month. Some days I half-expect to get arrested by the tofu police Laurie , " good karma " <karmacharmer@m...> wrote: > I'm a pseudo vegitarian most of the time.
