I don't know about you-all, but for me the hardest thing about being veggie is

the time constraints of preparing foods. Here's a recipe I got today that I'm

DEFINITELY going to try!

Crock Pot Spanish Rice

1 onion, diced

1 green pepper, minced

2 tomatoes, peeled, quartered (or use canned?)

15 oz tomato sauce

1 1/2 cup water

2 tsp chili powder

2 tsp worcestershire sauce

1 1/2 tsp garlic powder

3/4 cup brown rice

2 Tbs salsa

Stir all ingredients together in crock pot.

Cover and cook on low 7-10 hours.

The New Search - Faster. Easier. Bingo.

Wow, that does sound wonderful, and it is vegan.

Back east, my Grams always puts meat in her

Spanish rice recipe; in the form of browned ground

beef ~ bleh. I think adding some MSF Veggie

Crumbles to the last hour of cooking would make

this taste yummy though. I am definately going to

have to try this one. Thanks
