Guest guest
Oh yeah, I can definately relate. My youngest just can't seem to wrap his brain around why I don't ever want to eat meat at all. I just give him my simple answers: 1. It requires killing animals. 2. It doesn't smell or taste good to me. ~ feral ~ I have never been contained except I made the prison. ~Mary Evans, actress (1888-1976) ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~> , " Laurie " <laitaina@h...> wrote: > Hi Liz, > Welcome to the group. Guest guest
I get that a lot. I tell them that I had a gross-out experience one day and don't find meat appetizing anymore. Their reactions never cease to amaze. One of my aunts turned out to be a fan of flavored boca burgers. Laurie , " Feral " <terebinthus> wrote: > Oh yeah, I can definately relate. Guest guest
Which flavor? My husband actually likes their flame grilled flavor and I prefer the vegan version. When people who are trying to watch calories and keep track of what is going in their mouths for health reasons, there is no comparison between a meat burger and a Boca. Boca's taste like meat burgers [which is likely why they aren't my favorite]. However, for many, that similarity is a life saver in that it gives them a healthy alternative that still helps ease their craving for a " greasy burger " . ~ feral ~ I have always imagined that paradise will be a kind of library. ~Jorge Luis Borges, writer (1899-1986) ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~> , " Laurie " <laitaina@h...> wrote: One of my aunts turned out to be a fan of flavored > boca burgers. > > Laurie
Guest guest
She likes the black bean flavor. I've been buying the vegan bocas, but I have to admit I'm not particularly fond of the flavor. I was thinking about trying roasted garlic. Laurie , " Feral " <terebinthus> wrote: > Which flavor?
