I really like this quote that Heather in Ontario ( ) tags at the end of her

emails. Pirsig? Did he write Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance?

I liked that book -- one of the first travel books I read that made me want to

travel.

Very interesting observation, Jay.

 

I read this book too and did not experience it as a travel book but as one

of personal exploration. It certainly did make me want to travel, yet the

physical destination was not so important as the inner mileposts were.
