Guest guest
Yesterday, I cut up a big tub of assorted fresh fruit. And I still have some leftover bean salad left from the potluck. I also had polenta left over from day before yesterday when I had polenta with portabella mushooms. So, for breakfast, I had organic oatmeal and a bowl of fruit. For lunch, I went out to a Japanese restaurant and had veggie tempura and avocado roll. For dinner, it's pretty much leftover/buffet night, with a little bean salad, more fruit, a polenta patty, and some veggies that I sauted today. Yukon Gold potato, orange bell pepper, diced onion, tomato, mushrooms, carrots and spinich. Finished it with garlic powder, a touch of tumeric for color, along with a little sage, a little poultry seasoning, and a little Italian seasoning, and quite a bit of black pepper. Tomorrow, I'm going to have more fruit for breakfast (have to finish it off before it spoils, and I LOVE fruit), and a nice big salad for lunch with romaine lettuce and all the veggies left in the frig that are good on salad. For dinner, I'll be making veggie marinara over whole what pasta. Hopefully, that will get rid of all the fresh veggies, because I'm going out of town to visit my mom and dad first thing Wed. morning. --- nicole Panos <N1kolleta wrote: > > > lets see..so far today i have washed trimmed and am > now cooking > asparagus and > next will be brussel sprouts..i eat both of these > with some olive > oil, lemon > juice and salt. last night i made up a sauted dish > for speg... > onions, tomatoes spinach and garlic with salt > ,pepper, parsely, dill > and oregano > and a splash of lemon juice as well as olive > oil(hubby added feta)i > have on hand > a large variety of canned beans as well as dried and > am thinking of > making up a > bowl of fakiu or fasolada soup... mm or purhaps a > salad with boile > dpotatoes > and zuccini then raw tomatoes and onion. olve oil , > vinegar salt > pepper and oregano.. > so what is everyone else planning for the next few > days of meals? > warm regards > niccii > > SBC DSL - Now only $29.95 per month! http://sbc. Tonight is pasta night - A hot and spicy tomatoe sauce with bite-sized pieces of celery, mushroom, zuccini, onion and pepper over spaghetti. I'll make enough so there are leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Supper tomorrow will be rice balls with a tahini sauce, caesar salad and a fruit platter. The leftover balls (if there are any) will be lunch with the salad the following day. I like to get two meals out of every meal. Past that I have no idea. Maybe some bean sausages, gravy and mashed taters. That is one of my DS and DH favourite meals. Pain to make the sausages but they are very good. Depending how hot it's going to get this week, all my plans could go down the drain in favour of sandwiches and salads and cup a soup. Guest guest
wow lets see what I had for dinner I had a fresh express ranch salad, a pack of garden burger bbq " chicken " cutlets , they are so good too, an ear of corn, and some breyers choc chip ice cream, and of course crystal geyser water. I just wish they had water like that when I was growing up I would have probably drank water instead of milk or soda. its funny cause now water is like my primary beverage of choice. as far as peta goes many organizations have good intentions at heart but sometimes can get a little extreme about it " Kill, or be killed!--someone , Who are you to criticize, to judge and burn the tribes?
