I don't know how anyone can eat hamburger or chicken again after reading it. It also has a great section about genetically modified foods for those who are interested. Silly me, when I was posting an earlier message " thirding " the nomination for Fast Food Nation, I was actually thinking about Food Revolution in my head. Of course, I have read them both and they are both HIGHLY recommended. Food Revolution will make any meat- eater not want to eat chicken or ground beef again and Fast Food Nation will want to make you run and hide in a hole and not be a part of our fast food society!! Guest guest
Totally agreed about FFN - haven't read the other yet, but am now looking for it. I found Fast Food Nation at the library today. I looked for the other book, but they don't have it. Can you tell me what the ISBN # is? I want to ask the library to order it. They've done that before. I'll get the chance to read it first if they do. :-) I also looked for some other books that have been recommended to me. The library has very little resources on vegetarianism. I looked for a book called " Slaughterhouse " . It's not in the library either. I think I may just go out and buy it. If anybody has the ISBN # on that one could you please share it with me? Thank you. :-) ~Janice~ Be your own cheerleader! Encourage yourself every step of the way! Guest guest
What is bookcrossing? Is it sort of like an online library? ~Janice~ Be your own cheerleader!
