Guest guest
hello peter pan. :-) *hehehe* me neither. I just like having fun with the fact that friends of mine who turned 30 in the last few years were lamenting the fact. I choose to lampoon it. :-) Megan - " Pixx " <lists Thursday, June 26, 2003 11:27 PM Re: (OT) i'm officially an old fart now > Oh, please!! Guest guest
I admit, 30 was hard, but I was on a business trip and made light of it by demanding that my coworkers and I go out and have a party. We went out (on the expense account!) and that day ate cake and had a great time. 31 was uneventful. BTW, Happy Birthday!!!!!! > Oh, please!! Guest guest
The only one that really got me was 36. I moped for months before hand........I guess it was just the downward slide of the 30's getting to me.........but the others have been, as you say, uneventful. Anyone wanting to take this subject [or any other OT subject] over to theferal_OT list, please feel free [and invited] to do so. ;~) ~Pixx Sheryl wrote: I admit, 30 was hard
Guest guest
Not me, I say that as time closes in around us, we eventually stop counting the years, put them into perspective, and then look more closely at the places we've been, the lives we've touched, and the impressions we have left behind. If only I had known that at 30. Guest guest
and don't forget the old urban legend about women hitting their peak at 35.
Guest guest
Yeah, but that same legend tells that men do at 17. So all this is any good only if you are a 35 year old woman who can find an interested 17 year old 'man' who's parents won't put you in jail! HAHA! Guest guest
maybe that would explain why so many people keep celebrating their 29th birthday? :-) megan - > > Not me, I say that as time closes in around us, we eventually stop counting > the years, put them into perspective, and then look more closely at the > places we've been, the lives we've touched, and the impressions we have left > behind. > > If only I had known that at 30. > > Dave > > > > > Sheryl [ssarndt] > Friday, June 27, 2003 1:12 PM > > Re: (OT) i'm officially an old fart now > > I admit, 30 was hard, but I was on a business trip and made light of > it by demanding that my coworkers and I go out and have a party. Guest guest
hey, i definitely can say the last guy i dated back in february. he was in his early 30's and he definitely hadn't hit his peak yet. >:-) then again maybe that was because he was dominican (those latin lover types). :-) :-) :-) Megan - > Yeah, but that same legend tells that men do at 17.
