Guest guest Posted July 9, 2003 Report Share Posted July 9, 2003 Marmite, Vegex, Vegemite and other brands are a concentrated yeast extract that looks like thicker than normal molasses. One teaspoon can flavor a normal recipe for gravy or soup or making tvp bits taste like Morningstar crumbles. There is also powdered veggie beef flavoring in some health food stores. --- Be kind.
