Guest guest
Hi Megan, " I have a friend who recently converted to veganism. short story: she's black & she loves her soul food. :-) does anyone have any good vegan soul food recipes or vegetarian versions that can easily be converted? thanks! " I'm a vegan but i don't think i have any particular recipes that fit that description at the moment but there is a good book you could try The Voluptuous Vegan. not sure if that spelt right. You can get it on Amazon. I haven't got it myself but it looks really good. Also i second what heather said, the veggie soul food list is good. I used to belong but was receiving too much mail so had to quit lots of groups. Its a good group for yummy recipes though! ~*Laura*~ Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. Guest guest
I own that cookbook and I also own another that she may enjoy even better. I am a Georgia peach grown and raised. It's called Cookin' Southern (Vegetarian style). It says vegetarian but the majority of the recipes are vegan. I was quite shocked when I first purchased the book. It has almost all the southern recipes that are known in the south. I purchased my from Healty-Eating.com. , Vegan Vixen <veganvixenuk> wrote: > Hi Megan, > > " I have a friend who recently converted to veganism. short story: she's black & she loves her soul food. :-) does anyone have any good vegan soul food recipes or vegetarian versions that can easily be converted? thanks!
