Try Splenda

Isn't this the stuff they fairly recently were looking at so hard because of health issues with it? If I'm not terribly mistaken it is. I belong to several groups and it seems like there was a very big discussion of this a while back. Maybe not but it was one very similar. Anyone else know?

OK, I thought Splenda was a bad thing...... I just put back some real good

buys on a

flavored water drink that I love because it had Splenda in it......

And mark my words, the calculated intimidation which we see so often of

late by the " powers that be " will only keep the loyal opposition quiet for

just so long. Because eventually, like it always does, the truth will

emerge. And when it does, this house of cards, built of deceit, will fall.

splenda doesn't do well in all recipes.

i made a batch of brownies last week using splenda and

they didn't turn out at all. for some reason, all the

butter came to the top of the brownies while they were

cooking and the brownies were real rubbery. i had to

throw them out, they were so gross. on the other

hand, i did make a blackberry crumble using splenda

and was really happy with it.

you can get baking tips for using splenda at their

website: www.splenda.com

I wrote to the company some time back, and was told that anything

that rises or is brewed, will not work well if used with Splenda alone

[baked goods, and homebrew beer & soda]. Adding a small amount

of sugar was recommended.
