This is an untrue lie spread about Nutrasweet. Typical internet rumor.

When the Eye of Wisdom opened in me,

all duality and unity disappeared;

A great wonder possessed my soul,

neither subject nor object remained.

When the Music of Reality fell on mine ear,

all other sounds ceased;

Love withdrew all name and form from my being;

sorrow and joy vanished forever.

There was neither " I " nor " Thou "

-- purity alone remained.

Since self-forgetfulness conferred perfection on me,

What peace has entered my heart!

there was a whole thing about saccharin causing cancer in laboratory mice

several years ago but it is untrue for two reasons.

1) it would take so much saccharin being pumped into a body for it to have

any effect. just think of the saccharin ratio of rat to human for that to

take place. i personally like sweet 'n low but not THAT much sweet 'n low.

:)

2) rats' livers process saccharin differently than human livers, breaks it

down into a known carcinogen, while ours don't. (this straight from my dad

who's a former chemical & mining engineer)
