It is nothing but sugar water, " liquid candy " if you will, with phosphoric acid that will leach the calcium right out of your bones. I have read that if you put a nail in a glass of it, the nail will dissolve in a day or two. It is an evil company, because they market their products to children, teenagers and young people especially. Just like the way McDonalds markets Happy Meals to kids, young people are made to feel that drinking Coke is the cool thing to do. These are the people who can be harmed the most by consuming it. Coke and fast food go hand- in-hand... Try reading " Fast Food Nation " by Eric Schlosser. An interesting and insightful read, into the history of it, the mentality that runs it, and the marketing behind it all. Also, what's in the food... I am just finishing it up now. I've always know it wasn't really good for us. I just didn't know if there was more reason to think the company was bad. I think they are too. I look around and see all the over weight young kids. It's terrible. What's it going to be like for them when they get to be adults? I don't eat at fast food restaurants anymore either. Most of the time we go to a sit down restaurant. I like pizza Huts salad bar. That's my fast food. I drink much more water then I used too. It's better for us. I found that book at my public library a couple of months ago. I thought I had checked it out, but when I got home I realized I didn't have it. I must have put it down. I'll have to check it out soon. I'm reading a book on AD/HD at the moment(me & both DS have it). I'm almost done with it. When I am I'll check out " Fast Food Nation " by Eric Schlosser.
