Guest guest
Hi all. I think I mentioned once before that, although I am 99.9% vegetarian, I do fall off the wagon for chicken occasionally. Well NEVER AGAIN. I am still recovering from a nasty bought of salmonella. And I do mean nasty. For awhile I just wanted to curl up and die. Good thing, I have lost 12 lbs. <grin> This has thoroughly cured me of my chicken binges. Heather in Ontario
Guest guest
OUCH. Sorry to hear about that, but maybe it was a blessing in disguise??? Ugh. Have you tried seitan? When I had it, the texture and taste to me were soooo chicken-like! I couldn't even eat it! I've also heard that Quorn is very chicken-like. > > This has thoroughly cured me of my chicken binges. > > Heather in Ontario > > > >
Guest guest
OMG! I am so glad you pulled through okay, Heather. How scarey! I wish my family would all go veg 100%. I tell them of the risks of eating meats, and harp here and there sparingly about animal cruelty issues and how vegetarianism is more environmentally sound, but some people just cannot give up meat fully without some personal epiphany such as the one you just had. I'm just glad your's " dint kill yer " . ~ pt ~ To change your mind and to follow him who sets you right is to be nonetheless the free agent that you were before. ~ Marcus Aurelius, " The Meditations " ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~~~> , diamyst@a... wrote: > Hi all.
