Guest guest
My mother smokes but if she comes to my place, i'll tell her to smoke on the patio or smoke elsewhere but in my house. especially now that i own it LOL. my uncle who lives here in vegas does the same thing. he just goes outside to smoke. but it works both ways. when i'm at my autn's house there is smoking inside with my uncle there, so i just put up and respect that & take frequent trips outside for fresh air if it bugs me. or if we go out to eat, i just make it a point to sit on an opposite end of my uncle so the smoke doesn't drift toward me. if it drifts in my general direction, i just make some discreet coughing sounds. he takes a hint and moves his ciggie a bit farther away. my aunt is completely cool with that because she knows how much i hate cigarette smoke. thats oen of the reasons i just lurves my aunt. :-) megan

Guest guest
I don't want to stop smoking because I'd end up gaining weight. I'd rather be a smoker than have heart diease or diabetes. I'm so addicted to other things but no illegal drugs anymore. I gave that up for good but once in a while I'll get a craving for some weed but I just smoke my ciggies. Guest guest
I like this parallel with eating and cooking meat in the house. Like Gene said, the microscopic meat particles end up all over the house when it's cooked. There is no way I will have it in my house now. , " Megan Milligan " <yasminduran@l...> wrote: > My mother smokes but if she comes to my place, i'll tell her to smoke on the > patio or smoke elsewhere but in my house. especially now that i own it LOL. > my uncle who lives here in vegas does the same thing. he just goes outside > to smoke. but it works both ways. when i'm at my autn's house there is > smoking inside with my uncle there, so i just put up and respect that & take > frequent trips outside for fresh air if it bugs me. or if we go out to eat, > i just make it a point to sit on an opposite end of my uncle so the smoke > doesn't drift toward me. if it drifts in my general direction, i just make > some discreet coughing sounds. he takes a hint and moves his ciggie a bit > farther away. my aunt is completely cool with that because she knows how > much i hate cigarette smoke. thats oen of the reasons i just lurves my > aunt. :-) > > megan

Guest guest
Yeah, but I don't really care. I'm more worried about gaining weight than getting heart diease. Guest guest
I don't think I can ever stop smoking for so many reasons. My bf is also a smoker and it would trigger me to see him smoking when I'm not. Same with drinking. If I switch to smoking, I'll begin eating alot more and I just don't want that. I support others if they want to stop smoking. My dads been known to steal some of my ciggies when he's supposivly quit smoking. Sometimes I'd just give in and give them to him. He's tried to stop numerous amounts of times but was never able to. My grandma died of conjestive heart failure due to smoking. I have other problems that are more dangerous and deadly. I'm not a drug addict but I do have an eating disorder which at first is part of the reason I became vegitarian. When I first started smoking, I thought it would make me lose weight and I wanted to fit in with everyone else but now it's become such an addiction to me and it's a really hard one to break. Harder than my eating disorders. I know smoking is bad for you and everything but so is alot of other things. Plus it's kinda expensive. Girl, quit making up excuses for yourself and start living your life the way you want to live it! If you don't want to smoke and he will trigger you, find another boyfriend. It's a CHOICE. You do, however, have to be ready to deal with quitting smoking. No one needs to tell smokers it's bad for them. They know, but those who who won't quit aren't ready emotionally or otherwise to quit. Guest guest
I know I'm not ready to quit. I can't dump my bf because I love him too much. Most of the other guys I dated were smokers as well. Jessika Sheryl <ssarndt wrote: , VaMpYrEsS JeSsIkA <xxx_vampyress_jessika_xxx> wrote: > I don't think I can ever stop smoking for so many reasons.
