Guest guest
I am looking for some good crock pot recipes besides soup-any good stews, etc. I am also looking for a mozzarella, cucumber, tomato salad recipe. I just had one last week and the dressing was soooo good but it was from a restaraunt so I couldn't ask for the recipe. If anyone has a really good balsamic dressing resipe that would be good for this salad-I would greatly appreciate it Julie

We use it on salads, also as a marinade for grilled portabellas and vegetables. Italian salad dressing or marinade 1/2 cup good quality olive oil 1/4 cup lemon juice 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar 1 tsp salt 1 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp oregano leaves 1/2 tsp dry mustard 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp paprika 1/4 tsp thyme 2 cloves garlic, put thru garlic press Shake all ingredients together in a tightly covered jar. Refrigerate for a few hours before using to blend flavors well. Shake before using. Best to store in refrigerator. As for crockpot recipes, I to some of Chet Days' newsletters. There is a crockpot one. Some of his stuff is vegetarian, some not (He's into this " beyond vegetarian " thing). http://www.chetday.com cheryll
