Guest guest
There is a list rules document on the list website - reminderforthegroup.doc It seems to me that you are owed an apology for being flamed in a manner that is clearly against list policy. (and for something so trivial, sheesh) Don't sweat it any more. Hope you feel better! Guest guest
Agreed. I know this is a veggie list but it's not like Niccii was sending tons of meat recipes (or even one!) to the list. I thought it was a bit of an overreaction on part of the person who pointed it out to her. Guest guest
Just to add my two cents: Although I did not really get offended by the mention of meat (or shrimp or whatever) I do have to agree somewhat with the person who pointed out that maybe a vegetarian list should remain so. No, this wasn't the first time meat had been mentioned...early December discussions were filled with cat and dog food receipes, and a few of them were meat-based. I, myself, questioned this - silently (this is my first post) but decided to keep checking the posts until things went back to veggie-normal. Meat does get mentioned here and there, and, as many have responded, most are not offended...but it would be nice if meat recipes or menus did stay off a vegetarian recipe list. As the intro to the group says, " this list is for vegetarians, vegans and those who want more recipes in those areas and have no time " . michelle
Guest guest
Goodness. I thought this would be the one controversy-free list that I was on. *sigh* Rachael Just to add my two cents: Although I did not really get offended by the mention of meat (or shrimp or whatever) I do have to agree somewhat with the person who pointed out that maybe a vegetarian list should remain so.
