Guest guest
The mayo used on the vegie burger is NOT vegan. It is reduced fat, but it does have egg in it. I have had a few of them since they came out and they are very good. It is strange to be going through a drive through or into a fast food place, but since it is Burger King and their motto is " Have it your way " , i order it the way i like it - which doesnt include mayo. Did i mention that they are yummy? =o) I am very excited about them introducing this veggie burger! Its hard to imagine that last year we were protesting in, on and around them. I hope they continue to offer a vegetarian option, and that other places follow their lead. Susan
Guest guest
Hi, I tried the veggie burger too, but I found it rather bland. Next time I'll ask for catsup, mustard, pickles, onion, and tomatoes since our Burger King only puts on mayo and lettuce. (Also, here in New Mexico a layer of green chili is necessary for a good burger experience) The extra veggies should help a lot! I bought a BK veggie burger and got one free and ate both of them!. They are really good! I laughed and told my friends this was my first experience at eating fast food!! I'm now soooo mainstream American!!! lol! Gloria

Burger King Corp has revealed plans to roll out a veggie burger product throughout its US outlets, hoping that the vegetarian menu addition will help the company " earn back some loyalty " . " We thought it was time to do it, " explained the firm's vice president and chief global marketing officer Christopher Clouser: " We've been looking into a meat-free product for the last three months very, very seriously, domestically and internationally. " And this from a Vegan website: Second, ask that your burger patty be microwaved rather than grilled. All Burger King outlets have been instructed to offer this option, so that vegetarians won’t have to eat a product that is cooked on the same grill that is used to cook beef.
