Lately, when I think of eating real heavy foods, I find I just don't have the appetite for it. I'd rather have a nice veggie/tofu stirfry, a good salad, veggie burger, etc. Just something light pretty much satisfies me; anything else feels like a lead weight in my stomach. I do think it's a change of personal nature & not just the switch to warmer weather. Megan
Guest guest
Yes! Actually it was my husband complaining that he hadn't had a steak in many months. He bought himself one and was very surprised that it didn't taste as good as he thought it would, just was not so appealing after all the veggie meals I had been preparing. I took that as a compliment to my cooking style, and you all can take it as a compliment because of all the great recipe ideas shared here! Guest guest
Yes! I find that I certainly don't miss the meat, since becoming vegetarian a couple years ago. I made the mistake of eating turkey dinner last Thanksgiving... It was my Mom, and God knows how many more turkey dinners she will be around to cook, so I ate to be polite. It tasted strong and awful, and I felt awful for several days afterwards. My body seems to feel so much better being meat and dairy-free. I have more energy. I love my veggies! I am the kind who could sit down and eat a whole head of broccoli myself! :-) cheryll , " Megan Milligan " <yasminduran@l...> wrote: > As you become more vegetarian & eat new foods, do you find yourself losing a taste for processed/heavy-tasting foods?
