Fill your blender up with lots of luscious straberries. Top off

with vanilla soy milk and whirr. If you want, you can make a great

protein shake by adding strawberry flavored whey powder. I feel

relatively guilt-free with this and you can't beat the prep time.

This one is really good with blueberries, too. I tried it with

peaches, and it wasn't as good, I thought. Don't do raspberries

because you'll be spitting those little seeds all night. <G>

These are my " I hate to cook or wash dishes " recipes, can you tell?

Melinda, It is tough finding organic strawberries but

since Oregon produces them as well as lushious

blueberries, I like adding in a banana (og) with vanilla

rice milk and ice cubes for my smoothies---sometimes

I add a small amount of " amazaki " to make it creamier

but am a fan of vanilla rice milk, since I get soy in

other sources. Do you ever use soy or rice milk on

your cereal? I like that they don't have the pasty

aftertaste of dairy milk.

Sounds great! :) What time's breakfast? LOL!

OK, ya' got me.... what is amazaki, please? I've never heard of

it.

Yes, sometimes I use soy milk on cereal. I have a breakfast I

really like. I buy the Plain Mountain High Fat-Free yogurt (I don't

like all the additives in the others), and a bag of frozen

cherries. I put the cherries on the food chopper and add 1/2 bag

chopped cherries to one of the large yogurts. When I serve it, I

add a handful of homemade granola to it. I haven't found

the " perfect " granola recipe yet, though.

May I ask what is " amazaki " ?

And does anyone know how to make rice milk? It costs a fortune in my

country!

Thanks,

Amazaki is a thick drink made with almonds... maybe

someone can tell us how to make rice milk... there are

so many brands of inexpensive rice milk here I am

surprised it's not available in Brazil.
