Hi all,

 

Thanks for the carrot tip! Here's another . . . if

your soup/sauce is too salty, cut a whole, cleaned

potato in half (lengthwise) and drop it in the dish

for about 15 min. It will absorb enough of the salt

to, usually, make it palatable.

Wow, cool. I had never heard of that before. I will have to try that sometime if

I

have that sort of cooking accident.

 

I manage to have a few doozies each year. Once I put a can of diced jalapeno

chilies in a recipe that called for a can of diced green chilies. HOT, HOT HOT!
