I just sizzle thinnish slices of tempe in a small amount of olive oil with some onion and garlic powder and eat it as fajitas with caramelized onions and sour cream on tortillas. Yummy! Even my meat-eating husband likes it. I've always thought it would be even better if I took the time to put it in a fajita marinade first. Drop it into a zip-lock bag with the marinade in the morning when I leave for work and then drain and fry it that evening. Hmm . . . that sounds really good. Maybe tomorrow? :-) Susan -- --------- Please visit my website: http://members.cox.net/sbcogan Also, check out an excerpt of " Jubilee, " which will be published in the next few months: http://members.cox.net/sbcogan/jubileejones.html

We are going out for dinner tonight, so I will have to try my new miso soup recipe from Kris and your tempeh ideas tomorrow and Thursday.! Thanks so everyone for the suggestions, they are giving me a good idea of how to go about cooking with Miso and Tempeh!
